Sugar Hit 2013: Sebel

OCTOBER IS ALREADY HERE! How fast has the year flown by? But what do you know? It's foodies month! :D
First stop for 2013 Sugar Hit, Sebel! They stood out so much to our dear Candice that it was not going to be missed this year.
We were a little doubtful when we saw the presentation of the dessert; it looked like two different components were placed on a plate. Full stop.
The peanut butter ice cream was simply delicious, I was so happy. It melted in my mouth leaving me with such a sweet peanut taste tingling on the tip of my tongue.
The chocolate encasing the mouse was so hard for us to break, a tap, and two taps … still no break. The mixture of salted caramel and peanut with chocolate was a very interesting hit. However, I did feel the peanut did overpower the salted caramel in parts.
It is going to sound so 'captain obvious' (as this IS sugar hit) but I did find it boarder line sweet. So a sip of the brown brothers dessert wine was very refreshing.
